Molly Cofman is a former Chicagoan and long time friend of Om now living in Tuscany. She is a licensed, board-certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist as well as a seasoned yoga teacher. Molly now leads retreats and trainings at her farm in Tuscany and all over the world.

Please help us welcome Molly Cofman — a former Chicagoan now living in Tuscany — for a unique workshop introducing general concepts of Traditional Chinese medicine. Through a skillfully crafted yoga practice following the five elements of Chinese Medicine, you will experience greater internal harmony, balance and energy. In small part presentation/lecture, and in big part experiential, this workshop is a journey of self-exploration, discovery and revealing our fullest potential.

Molly is a licensed, board-certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist as well as a seasoned yoga teacher. She was a part of the Integrative Medicine Team at Northshore University Health Systems in Chicagoland for many years. Her studies on complementary medicine and yoga are vast. Molly now leads retreats and trainings all over the world.

Mindful Moms and Kids with Nina and Lindsay

The young yogis at the recent Mindful Moms & Kids requested another one! So this one hour special class for parents and children is happening again. Moms and Dads take an energetic 45-minute class with Nina in the practice room. At the same time, your child takes part in a 45-minute kids class with Lindsay in the reception area. Parents and children come together for a final 15 minutes of shared yoga-focused games and discussion.

Lindsay’s class is best for 3 - 8 year olds and includes yoga, music & mindful activities.

In the easy warmth of the studio, Terry will lead this session focused on the qualities needed to get your swing and your game into the groove for the launch of the golf season.

Balance, mobility, freedom and focus are the keys to high performance and low scores on the links. You'll gain awareness of your unique body mechanics and walk away with a few poses you can do at home and on the range to get connected and enjoy every moment of your walk on the green road.

Mindful Moms & Kids is a unique new class offering for parents with young children.  The one-hour class offers Moms (or Dads) an energetic 45-minute class with Nina in our main Practice Room.  At the same time, your child will take part in a 45-minute kids class with Lindsay in the Reception Area.  Lindsay's class is best for 4-7 year olds and includes yoga, music, & mindful activities.  Parents and children will come together for a final 15 minutes of shared yoga-centric games and discussion.

Come relax on your mat.  That’s it.  Yoga Nidra.

Liz V leads a guided meditation while you are in savasana, resting with your pillows, eyes closed, warm room (not hot).  Yoga Nidra is also known as “yogic sleep” and you will explore conscious, easy awareness of your whole being.  Deep calm will be yours at the end of this 1 hour class.

Winter Olympics Family Yoga Class with Nina Helgeson & Liz Vitell

Gather up your young ones and get in the Olympic spirit in yoga style!  This class will celebrate Team USA at the Om Olympic Training Center.   Count on winter sports-based poses plus plenty of fun & games

The heat is turned off, but the studio will be warm. A brief healthy snack/social time follows. Recommended for kids 3 years old and up.

Workshop Fee is $25 for the first 2 family members & $5 for each additional.

Yin Yoga Class With Liz Vitell

Have you tried the monthly Yin class yet?  Here's your first chance in 2018!

Yin's intention is to relax and deliver deep stimulation to fascia, the biological tissue that holds us together.    To do this, Liz will guide you through a variety of floor poses with lingering holds and lots of surrender.  

This class is very chill and has a restorative tempo to it.  But don't be fooled...long holds have their unique challenges, too.  Just come on by and know you can use your class series or simply drop in.

Bring pillows or a bolster or anything else that supports you.  The heat is off but the studio is still warm.
