Yoga with Live Music by Mahapurna

Join us as we welcome Canadian yogi musicians Shonna & John to Om.  Together, they are known as Mahapurna and they’ll be adding live music to the 7:30pm one-hour vinyasa class with Liz Gill teaching.     

Mahapurna is touring yoga festivals in Canada & the U.S. this summer and we are delighted they are stopping by Om to share their love of Bhakti yoga - the yoga of devotion or sometimes known as “love for love’s sake”.  This will definitely be a high-vibe summer yoga celebration!

Down-dog 4 Dignity — A Yoga Benefit for Designs 4 Dignity

Down-dog 4 Dignity is a one-of-a-kind charity yoga class to benefit Designs 4 Dignity.   We'll gather to practice at the spacious, spectacular Logan Square home of Diane Falanga, Board President of Designs 4 Dignity.   Om's very own Beth & Annie will teach & assist.  After getting our zen on with a one-hour all levels class, we’ll enjoy mimosas, coffee and a healthy bit of nosh. 

This is a BYOM(at) event capped at 30 participants, so sign up soon to reserve your spot.

The cost is $25.  This includes your receiving an online proof sheet along with an 8 by 10  print (value $60) of your favorite photo.  Advance reservations required for photo session and $25 payment to be made direct to Rachel on day of session.

Yoga Fore Golfers with Terry

Are you itching to get out on the golf course but feeling a little creaky? Do you need a "secret weapon" that will leave your foursome wondering how you do it? This is the workshop for you! In the easy warmth of the studio, Terry will lead this session focused on the qualities needed to get your swing and your game into the groove for the launch of the golf season.

Balance, mobility, freedom and focus are the keys to high performance and low scores on the links. You'll gain awareness of your unique body mechanics and walk away with a few poses you can do at home and on the range to get connected and enjoy every moment of your walk on the green road.

The class will be geared toward golfers, but all are welcome! (Headstand pictured here for humorous purposes only...we won't be doing those!)

Come relax on your mat.  That’s it.  Yoga Nidra.

Liz V leads a guided meditation while you are in savasana, resting with your pillows, eyes closed, warm room (not hot).  Yoga Nidra is also known as “yogic sleep” and you will explore conscious, easy awareness of your whole being.  Deep calm will be yours at the end of this 1 hour class. 

This is a drop-in class or you can use your yoga series.
