First stop: London and teaching at Lumi Power Yoga in Hammersmith. Our fellow yoga-couple colleagues Ari & Elina were the most gracious hosts and these Lumi yogis were ready to rock. Terry’s class was actually on the 4th of July, which was a bit of a twist on how we typically celebrate Independence Day in Chicago. Beth’s class on Saturday morning was bumpin’ and local teacher Naomi was there assisting, too. We had such a great time. Cheers to the "special relationship" between the UK and the US...yoga-style!
Second stop: Paris and an outdoor, pop-up yoga fundraiser in the Champs de Mars. Our young friend Ethan Ravi introduced us to the teenage tutors at Koh-Ed in Paris & €200 raised that day in front of the Eiffel Tower. Merci to The Ravi Family for coordinating a beautiful morning of yoga. Our hearts and practice were connected with local Parisiennes and expats there. Plus, it was rather extraordinary when an Om yogi’s Mom (who happens to live in Paris) arrived along with a Chicago student in Paris on business. The world is so big yet so connected.
